The Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder’s (CEWH) Science Program funds the Flow Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (Flow–MER).

The Flow-MER team members for the Warriku-Baaka (Warrego-Darling) and Gwydir Selected Areas caught up on the 27th of October to discuss progress and plans for this water year (Figure 1).
Field teams have completed the first lot of spring surveys in both Selected Areas,
with more indicator monitoring to be completed in upcoming weeks.
A big discussion was had around the five-year extension of the Flow-MER program that commences in July 2024. We are working the CEWH to develop and shape this exciting continuation and expansion of the Flow-MER program.
Managing water for the environment is a collective and collaborative effort, working in partnership with communities, private landholders, scientists and government agencies – these contributions are gratefully acknowledged.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, work and play. We also pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
