Liz Taylor is our newly appointed Gomeroi (Gwydir) Selected Area Cultural Advisor. This role sits within a pilot project to help guide communication and engagement with Traditional Owners in the land of the Gomeroi People. Liz will help us to listen and learn from First Nation communities.

Our creation, ancestors and song lines assist along our waterways and our totems directly link us to our creation ancestors and we have the duty to care for our country and protect our totems since the beginning. The Gwydir Warrumbools, our waterholes our wetlands are my focus and our team hope to produce an educational resource to promote the cultural and environmental values, and significance of our Wetlands.
