We direct and lead both of these programs. This involves designing the monitoring program, leading teams to capture information on water quality, micro- and macro-invertebrate survey, fish and bird surveys and vegetation assessment. We also focus on communicating the outcomes of the science, not just the detailed annual reporting but also finding ways to engage a broader audience (twitter, newsletters, stakeholder presentations, field days, online project videos). This is a big, complex project that involves a team of over 15 scientists and key stakeholders, on the land and within government.
